| Sept 2011 | Sting and Sirius at the LAA Rally |
There will be a Sting and the Sirius factory demonstrator on the Midland Aviation stand at the LAA Rally at Sywell from September 2nd - 4th. The first Sting owners fly-in was held in July with a good turn out of Sting aircraft. There are 12 Stings currently flying in the UK.

Five Stings have been issued with full Permits to Fly by the LAA:
- G-CEPS
- G-CFDS
- G-CGLJ
- G-CGML
- G-LCMW

The Sting is now LAA approved at 560kg MTOW. Permits to Test are in the process of being issued to builders who have completed their kits.
